The story of the Quest of Sages is being told through a series of fantasy books. The saga follows a hero’s journey to every country in the world in the same order that they are visited for the art project. Myths, legends and folktales from the communities encountered along the way come to life in the foundation of an epic mythological universe.
Series Synopsis
For the first time in history, a god has been murdered. As the Olympians mourn one of their own, Poseidon investigates the attack. When he learns of an ancient spell with the power to subdue the impending evil, he tasks Sebastian, a young explorer from a seaside village, with the mission of gathering its scattered pieces. Sebastian is gifted the power of water magic by Poseidon and must embark on a quest to unlock the wisdom of the sages of all 197 nations of the world. As he travels from country to country, Sebastian encounters the legendary characters from local myths and folktales along the way. He soon realizes that the mysterious god killing force isn’t the only threat to humanity as the ruling houses of the great continents grow into empires and conquest plagues the land.

Sharing Cultural Wisdom
The fusion of Sebastian’s mythological quest with the events and wisdom gathered from the real-life artistic journey creates a unique narrative that blurs the line between fantasy and reality. Each of the sages photographed for the art project is asked one simple question; “What is one thing you wish to share with the world?” These quotes become the wisdom given to Sebastian by the sages in the series.
