ABOUT THE SOUTH OMO RESEARCH CENTER
SORC aims at playing a pivotal role in creating linkages between theory and practice, by providing researchers and students of material and spiritual cultures such as the opportunity to carry out practical research. We welcome researchers from different backgrounds and disciplines, such as anthropology, sociology, linguistics, education studies, archaeology, history, botany, zoology, geology, development studies, filmmaking, library sciences and museum curatorship, to join us.
The facilities such as the museum and the library can be accessed and used by researchers who carry out applied research in South Omo and neighbouring regions.
