ABOUT THE FEDERAL YODELING ASSOCIATION

The Federal Yodeling Association was founded on May 8th, 1910 in Bern and focuses on keeping Swiss traditions alive, such as yodeling, natural yodeling, blowing the alphorn and Büchel and waving flags. Its members come from all walks of life; the association is politically and denominationally neutral. At the moment there are over 21,000 taking part; their number is still increasing despite modern trends.

The association makes every effort to promote young talent at all levels and to support its members with a wide range of services. As a national association, it is also well networked with federal Berne, the umbrella organizations SMR and IGV and the most important lay associations. He can thus campaign very effectively for the customs.

"Lively." is the official body of the Federal Yodelling Association. It appears monthly with the exception of August. All official announcements as well as lots of interesting facts about yodeling, flag waving and blowing the alphorn will be published in this medium.
