ABOUT THE FEDERATION OF SAN MARINO CROSSBOWMEN
The Federation of San Marino Crossbowmen is a group born in 1956 to restore an ancient tradition, documented since the fourteenth century, linked to crossbow competitions.
Today it is made up of six groups: musicians, flag-wavers, extras, shooters, supporters and periodically performs at home and abroad in ancient costumes, proposing shooting competitions, flag shows, parades, evocative sounds and music of the past.
They often participate in competitions with other historical groups of crossbowmen to evoke the ancient tradition of shooting competitions with the large bench crossbow.
